Data collection
No analytics, tracking, or personal data collection occurs. Timer settings are stored locally using Chrome’s `storage` APIs.
Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| storage | Persist timer rules, options, and change logs between browser sessions. |
| tabs | Reload the active tab, detect discard/audible status, update the badge. |
| alarms | Schedule refresh events while the MV3 service worker sleeps. |
| commands | Provide keyboard shortcuts. |
| scripting | Inject the guard script after you approve access for the current origin. |
| notifications | Optional desktop alert when text/title monitors stop the timer. |
Optional host permissions (`https://*/*`, `http://*/*`) are requested only when you start a timer on that site. Denying the prompt means the timer will not run.
Data retention
Data remains in your local Chrome profile. Use the popup “Quick reset” or uninstall the extension to clear it.
Third parties
Ultra Reload does not communicate with external services. The marketing site is a static Cloudflare Pages deployment with no analytics.
