Designed for live dashboards, trading panels, and QA workflows
Precise timers
Quick presets (5 s → 5 min), custom intervals, optional jitter to stagger requests, and stop-after counters that shut down when you’re done — all inside a neon Windows 11–inspired cockpit.
Pause guards
Typing, clicks, media playback, uploads, offline state, and discarded tabs automatically pause timers to protect in-flight work.
Change monitors
Watch a CSS selector or page title and stop the timer (with an optional notification) the moment the text or title matches.
Privacy first
All logic runs locally. No analytics, no remote code, no data collection — ever. Permissions are requested per origin on demand.
Live status
The toolbar icon pulses neon green with a spinning ring while the badge shows a per-second countdown — visual proof that Ultra Reload is running.
How Ultra Reload works
- Open the popup and choose a preset or custom interval.
- Toggle hard reload to force `tabs.reload({ bypassCache: true })` when needed.
- Ultra Reload asks for permission on the current site only once.
- Guards pause and resume automatically based on activity.
Need peace during meetings? Configure quiet hours in Options so timers pause overnight and resume in the morning.
Built to play nice with Chrome
Memory Saver aware
If Chrome discards a tab, Ultra Reload shows a banner and resumes when you revisit. You can opt-in to “Keep this tab active” from the popup.
Offline detection
Timers pause automatically when your connection drops and resume as soon as you’re back online.
Notifications (optional)
Enable a desktop notification when text or title monitors trigger so you never miss the condition you’re waiting for.
Policy-friendly from the start
| What | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Permissions | `storage`, `tabs`, `alarms`, `commands`, `scripting`, `notifications`. Host access requested per-origin only when you press Start. |
| Privacy | No data collected, no analytics, no remote scripts. Privacy policy available on this site. |
| Manifest V3 | Service worker background, no eval, no remote code. Timers stored in `chrome.storage.sync` for resilience. |
